Hi, I’m Kevin and I want to be your home repair partner. Please take a little time here to get acquainted. I think you’ll find that I’m not your usual handyman.
My Story
My journey as a builder began as I boy. I was always taking things apart to see how they worked and building projects in the basement or garage. I could not have enough Tinker Toys! Even now, the rich smell of pine wood sawdust takes me back to my childhood.
I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in sculpture from Ohio University and learned welding, ceramics, and metal casting. But I always returned to my first love: woodworking and furniture building. While in college I built a small cabin out in the woods using only hand tools.
I got started in the home improvement business in 1980 in Denver, Colorado. I started up a painting business with a friend. He got married and moved on, but my business continued to grow.
My customers appreciated my attention to detail and work ethic, so they started to ask me if I could do other things and from there it just blossomed.
Over the years I have acquired a broad skill set through practical experience and from studying books, magazine articles, and videos. To this day I am constantly searching to learn new ideas, techniques, and skills.
Today I focus exclusively on IKEA kitchen and bookcase installation, invisible drywall repair, custom carpentry, and home improvement projects.
